There isn’t much available online that depicts what true fashionistas are sporting on the snowy slushy streets of Canada. So, how is Canadian real winter looks like?  It’s all about boots, scarves, sweaters, mittens, hats, parkas… The whole nine yards. But sometimes we chill, as today! Continue reading

You don’t need to find a beach to beat the winter blues. There’s an invigorating, rosy-cheek feeling that comes from a day out among fresh air and snow—followed by something hot to drink. The mountains are a remote escape from humanity, a place to be alone and soak up the sunrise, the sunset or just the sun’s rays. Introvert Heaven. Continue reading

Christmas is coming. Every year, everyone celebrates this special holiday season. This is not just for kids, but also for the whole family. It is the time for love, happiness and forgiveness. I love Christmas. Decorating the tree. Picking out special gifts to give to my loved ones. Listening to holiday themed songs on the radio. Watching heart warming films such as ”Home Alone”, ”It’s a Wonderful Life” and cartoons like ”Frosty the Snowman”. I love the twinkling lights. The celebration of Christmas makes me happy. I think I’ve always had a bit of a weak spot for winter holidays! I mean, can you imagine a more perfect time of a year? Cozy, comfortable and in many ways, an epitome of effortlessly casual style… Though, I love pretty much everything about the Holiday season, from music and decorations, to parties and Holiday style, shopping for gifts is, definitely, my favourite thing to do!  Continue reading

Sportswear is, definitely, having a moment on the catwalks right now, and what better way to ease this trend into your daily wardrobe than with a bomber jacket? With its military fighter pilot origins, this jacket will instantly give you an injection of attitude. This season’s bomber comes in a daring range of colours and designs for those who care to adventure beyond the classic black look. And they don’t have to be ultra-sporty or masculine. My choice is to go casual with an army green bomber and destroyed denim. Continue reading

I cannot believe it’s been a year already since I wrote my first words for this blog! It seems like all this happened in a different life, and I still remember exactly how I felt as if it was yesterday. I was excited and full of emotions: happy, nervous, unsure and disoriented. Unsure because although the idea of blogging seemed like a promising hobby, like so many others starting a blog, I thought who would actually read it, leave comments, BUT you know what? I went ahead and did it anyway, because it was something I could see myself enjoying, and I am glad I did not let my insecurities get in the way!  You cannot imagine how happy blogging has made me.

Boston is one of the US’ most beautiful cities. It is, indeed, the “city on a hill” as its Puritan forefathers proclaimed it. It’s a beautiful gem, with museums, colleges, and even the headquarters of the Christian Science and Unitarian Universality churches. Boston captures the essence of New England – a region located in the northeast corner of the USA, made up of six diverse U.S. states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. The region is bounded to the north by Canada, to the east by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by Long Island Sound, and to the west by the state of New York. There are rivers and lakes, towering forests, mountain ranges with hiking and skiing trails, pastoral farmland and countryside, and dramatic rocky coastline and soft, sandy beaches. Continue reading

Hello, Everyone! Today’s look is for those that say it’s too tricky to look chic and stay warm, with the look no further than one of the season’s coziest trends: the turtleneck sweater. These close-fitting, high-collar sweaters will hug your neck tightly when it starts to get colder outside—making them the ultimate cold-weather fashion staple as the temperatures start to drop. Canada is a land filled with fascinating places and amazing adventures. Being a Canadian means enjoying every single part of this country! You will never find such an amazing and wild beauty as here in Canada! The time between mid-September till the end of October is where Tremblant is most breathtaking.  The trees are beaming with great colors and the air smells great.

Mont Tremblant is our destionation for today. With its six great rivers and 400 lakes and streams, Parc national du Mont-Tremblant is a canoer’s paradise. It’s a rich amalgam of Québec’s natural and historic heritages, being the largest and oldest park in the network. This wilderness is so vast that it is home to 40 mammal species, including the wolf. There is also the Via ferrata du Diable, an intermediate activity between hiking and climbing that will let you discover the park’s mountains in a way you could otherwise only dream about.
