Ushanka (also known as Trapper hat, Aviator hat, Shapka, Chapka etc.) is a traditional, yet stylish, Russian winter hat with ear flaps, which is extremely warm to handle the frigid Russian winters.

How to style it? Wear coats for the winter like overcoats or peacoats. Heavier the better. It kinda fits the aesthetic of a big hat to go with a big coat.
Today, is very cold in Montreal. The temperature dropped below -16C. Embracing the cold weather, layering my outfit with fur vest and maxi coat keeping warm from the wind. Chapka hat is perfect for such weather!
