Fall trendy colour

Maroon, aubergine, burgundy, oxblood, wine — “colour” of the fall 2025. Yes, you heard it right! This colour trend came back last year, and it is still popular.

However burgundy is not the right colour for everybody. Here is why you can wear similar shades to burgundy, such as aubergine and oxblood.

There is a little bit of a difference among these colours. Burgundy seems to be a mix of brown and red. Aubergine is a similar shade but it has more of a purple to it (something like plum or eggplant). Oxblood is very similar to burgundy but it has more of a red to it.

This fall colour trend appearing in monochromatic outfits, coats, pantsuits, and accessories like boots and handbags.

To style this sophisticated hue, treat it as a new “black,” layering it with itself and with complementary colours such as chocolate brown, olive green, and cognac. You can integrate burgundy through various textures like leather, silk, and knitwear, and incorporate it with statement accessories like chunky jewelry and slouchy bags for an elevated look.
