A classic, trench coat is a wardrobe staple that will never go out of style. Not only is it a quintessential component of a minimalist’s wardrobe, it’s also an item you can wear and hold onto forever.

Thanks to its timeless details and neutral color palette, the best trench coats for women can do no wrong. It’s such a great transitional statement in your wardrobe.

The past few days the air became crispy in Montreal, so I grabbed this trench, suede boots, accessorized the look with this leather fringed mini bag, and the look became complete!
Accessories are important, don’t forget! Even a simple old trench can have “another life”.

I have a trenchcoat. Two, actually. They are both from when we lived in New York so they are at least 25 or 30 years old. There’s a black wool one from London Fog and a grey microfiber one from Bill Blass. I still get to wear the Bill Blass one from time to time out here in the winter. It is never cold enough to bust out the London Fog one. But will I ever get rid of it? OF COURSE NOT.
You should come to Montreal, in fall it’s so beautiful and pretty chill. Awesome for trenches!
