A trend that’s completely taken over this fall and is sure to continue in winter 2024? The suede look. Suede bags, suede jackets, suede skirts, and yes, suede shoes—it’s what all the fashion girls are wearing.
Some seasons there’s a trend you can’t seem to escape, and for fall, it’s suede. It’s everywhere this year—especially accessories. There’s something rich and textural about suede that lends itself to fall. Traditional autumnal colours like chestnut brown and all the shades of brown that are also incredibly popular at the moment—really look good in suede.
Personally I love seeing people wearing boots all year round; there’s something indescribably cool seeing someone step out in some tasteful knee-highs and long skirts.
The tactile fabric of suede is much softer than its hide leather sibling. I also find hues of beige and tan look far more expensive in boot form when suede comes into play.
